Thanks for visiting Harvesting Hart! Harvesting Hart started as a business selling purses online five years ago and has developed into a crochet goodie and pattern business selling at Indie craft fairs, online and in stores around southeastern Michigan. I grew up in Michigan, where I went to school for architecture, and currently live near Ann Arbor with my husband and two cats, Chloe and Layla.
All of my items and patterns are created by me in my home studio. I love the idea of creating a plant that "lives" forever, especially since much of my professional experience has been in keeping real plants alive in greenhouses. I primarily use cotton and acrylic yarn and basic traditional crochet technique. My goal with my items is to create unique crochet products that are of great craftsmanship and inspire a feeling of whimsy.
